About UND Aerospace

It is the mission of UND Aerospace to provide the best possible education and training available. With more than 2,200 students, the John D. Odegard school of Aerospace Sciences is the second largest college at the University of North Dakota. UND Aerospace is known around the world for academic excellence. From the most technologically advanced simulators to the world's largest collegiate training fleet, our state-of-the-art facilities provide our clients with a training experience that is second to none.

Undergraduate and graduate programs in aerospace are offered through four different academic departments: aviation, atmospheric sciences, computer science and space studies. The UND Aerospace training complex is the most technologically advanced environment for aerospace education, training and research in the world.

In addition to the training listed above, UND Aerospace also offers customized development of computer-based training solutions, Airport Information Management Systems (AIMS), and Learning Management Software (LMS).

UND Aerospace, which includes the John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences at the University of North Dakota and the UND Aerospace Foundation, is an international leader in collegiate and contract aviation education. With more than 120 aircraft conducting over 100,000 hours of flight training per year, UND Aerospace is one of the largest flight schools in the world. UND's main campus is in Grand Forks, North Dakota with satellite schools in Spokane, WA; Phoenix, AZ; and Crookston, MN.
