UND Aerospace operates one of the largest, most advanced fleets of training aircraft
in the world. With over 120 aircraft system wide, UND trains more than 1000 pilots
each year.
UND’s fleet consists of glass cockpit equipped Cessna, Piper and Beech fixed wing
aircraft, as well as Bell and Schweizer helicopters. At Grand Forks International Airport,
UND operates over 130 aircraft.
UND operates the same types of aircraft at its satellite campuses in Phoenix, AZ,
Spokane, WA, and Crookston, MN.
Job Placement
UND aviation students are required to meet stringent standards set by
the FAA and the UND Aerospace program. UND Aerospace has relationships with nearly all US airlines to provide job placement for its graduates. Aerospace Student Services specializes in placing recent graduates into internship and flight positions.
