UND Aerospace offers the most advanced ATC training facilities and effective curriculum in the industry. Our University Degree Program utilizes an Air Traffic Control curriculum designed to graduate students ready for assignment with the FAA.
If you require ab initio ICAO training or advanced training that refreshes the skills of previously qualified controllers, we also offer customizable ICAO ATC training curriculum to meet your needs. Our simulators offer real-world training scenarios capable of having an aircraft depart one of our airports, contact departure and proceed into the enroute environment... in one completely integrated system.
Our Air Traffic Control Simulation Labs feature:
- 360-degree Tower Simulator with 4 additional radar positions
- 225-degree Tower Simulator with voice recognition and 9 radar positions
- 32 position Radar Simulation System with voice recognition ATCoach®, capable of simulating both terminal and enroute radar systems
Our equipment offers life-like visuals, unmatched voice recognition, and comprehensive weather and environmental sound effects. In addition to having State-of-the-Art facilities, UND Aerospace faculty members have outstanding credentials and are widely recognized for their innovative contributions in curriculum development, air traffic control training and instructional technology.
