The Grand Forks Air Force Base UAS Center was developed in partnership with L3 and the Grand Forks Air Force Base
to bring the PMATS (Predator Mission Aircrew Training System) to the first non-military
partner, The University of North Dakota. With nearly 5000 sq. ft., this facility
offers high-tech classrooms, briefing rooms, de-briefing rooms, and UAS lab capability.
The UAS Center offers a maximum capacity of 30 students, while providing access to all of the amenities
that are available at the Grand Forks Air Force Base. The UND/L3 UAS Training Center
is utilized for MQ-1 and MQ-9 training, services, and research.
