GFK Airport
Flight training in Grand Forks takes place six miles from campus at the Grand Forks
International airport, Mark Andrews field, where UND Aerospace operates a modern fourteen-building
flight training complex totaling more than 200,000 square feet. The airport is fully
instrumental (ILS) and has two sets of parallel runways, a modern ATC facility,
and approach control by the Grand Forks Air Force Base (15 miles to the west).
